She’s a nonprofit founder, corporate educator, and producer of the upcoming documentary NOORI. With a doctorate in Leadership and Innovation, Lyla continues to shape policy, empower communities, and honor Afghan allies through her work with leading organizations and think tanks.

October Luncheon
Please join us for the October Luncheon featuring Lieutenant Colonel Mark Saurer currently commands the 2d Joint Communications Squadron, Joint Communications Support Element. A decorated Army Signal Officer with multiple combat deployments and leadership roles in elite units, LTC Saurer brings over 17 years of operational experience across Iraq, Syria, Jordan, and more. He holds a degree in Civil Engineering from Notre Dame and a Master’s in Military Operational Art and Science.
